Brief

Design of an interactive and innovative device using the Virtual Reality.

Work

In this multiplayer demo, each player impersonates a magician which can be able to launch the 4 elements' spells. Players are immerged into a duel room thanks to an Oculus Rift DK2 which contains 2 vibrators and a ventilator (via Arduino), this allows necessary haptic feedback to the player for the experience.

The 4 elements must be launched by movements (detailed in video below) detected by a Kinect 2. This experience uses all of the senses and reinforced the immersion into the game. This also reduced the "Motion-sickness" effect.

Challenges

To be able to find the right movements and to make the game as simple and playful as possible with an adequate atmosphere.
