Starting with the new Clio V, the EasyLink system replaces the Rlink2 Onboard system of Renault. Cleaner and closer to mobile's graphics, aiming to be more timeless than before!
As replacement of RLink-2 system, one of the aim was to improve the visibility and understanding of the vehicle features by didactic and big visuals. We also rework the path to the features and go further with the access to all features by full customizable widgets. Those widgets allows the user to have all that he needs and wants in the homepage at first glance.
This system was also developped to be use by multiple brands and screen format in terms of UX. Dacia and partners were also thought through in the process in terms of theme.
I had during the project, the chance to follow its development by working closely with our supplier BOSCH in their India & Germany's offices.
Simplifing its use and making it more visually pleasing and understanable.
Work on the look to make it graphically more timeless without losing the brand identity of Renault & Dacia.
As a challenge, it was the first project to be thought with transversal components and more specific ones to differentiate brands.
I was the designer in charge of the premisces of the first Renault Group design system for onboard systems (component guides were designed by referencing all assets with their states, use, etc.).
